Organizational Structure


Correios organizational structure includes the systematic set of responsibilities, authorities, hierarchic bindings, roles and areas and bodies description.   It is represented by Central Administration, Executive Direction, Executive Committee, Departments, Service Centers and same levels bodies, and Regional Administration, composed of Regional Directions.


The company Executive Direction is constituted by Presidency and eight Vice-Presidencies:  Business Vice-Presidency, Economic/financial vice-Presidency, Logistics and Orders Vice-Presidency, Technology and Infrastructure Vice-Presidency, Clients and Operations Vice-Presidency, Administration Vice-presidency / Legal Vice-Presidency.

There are 28 Regional Directions in Regional Administration. São Paulo state is divided in two directions: Metropolitan São Paulo (acting in capital, Great São Paulo, South Coast and Upper Tietê) and São Paulo inland, responsible for the other municipalities.

Brasília Regional Direction comprehends Federal District and some Goiás state inland municipalities.  The other Regional directions act in the area corresponding to states geographic boundaries. They are:  Acre, Alagoas, Amazonas, Amapá, Bahia, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Pará, Paraíba, Paraná, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Rondônia, Roraima, Santa Catarina, Sergipe and Tocantins,
